We will miss another industrial revolution with current quality of democracy and leadership

Present system is in ruine and is not delivering. 

Does Pakistan need hybrid but creative  presidential system?

    جنرل باجوہ نے سعودی عرب کے ساتھ تعلقات ہموار كیے۔  پی ٹی آئی حکومت کو اس اہم تعلقات کو مضبوط کرنے کی کوشش کرنی چاہئے۔  جان اچکزئی پاکستان کے آرمی چیف طویل عرصے کے بعد ، چار روزہ دورے پر سعودی  عرب پہنچ گئے ہیں۔ جنرل باجوہ کے  کے  سفر کےدوران وزیر اعظم عمران خان  بھی  اس ماہ کی 7 تاریخ کو  سعودی عرب جاینگے۔  جنرل باجوہ کا یہ دورہ دونوں ممالک کے تعلقات میں شدید سردمہری کے بعد آیا ہے۔ تعلقات اس وقت ٹھنڈے ہوگئے جب وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے ترکی کی سربراہی میں ایک اور پاور بلاک میں شامل ہونے کی کوشش کرتے ہوئے ، خارجہ پالیسی کو پھر سے استوار کرنے کی کوشش کی۔ یہ وہ وقت تھا جب سعودی عرب کو لگا کہ او آئی سی میں اس کی قیادت کو پاکستان کمزور کررہا ہے۔ وزیر اعظم نے مغرب میں اسلامو فوبیا سے لڑنے کے اپنے ارادے کو بھی پیش کیا اور ترکی کے ساتھ ملنا چاہتے تھے تاکہ مغربی دنیا میں اس بیانیے کو پیش کرنے کے لئے ایک ٹی وی چینل شروع کیا   جاسکے۔ لیکن سعودی ترکی خراب راستے میں آگیا۔ ایک اور عنصر پی ٹی آئی کی حکومت کا ایران کی طرف متوجہ جھکاؤ تھا۔ یہ ...

Why Peace for Pakhtuns Now? By Jan Assakzai The situation in Pakhtun areas of Pakistan has quite alarmed many Pakhtun residents in the West. As a reflection of the growing anxiety, a new forum called Peace for Pakhtuns Now (PPN) has been launched in UK. The forum wants a new Pakhtun European voice heard on Pakhtun issues in Pakistan and supports the Pakhtun community-who are the victims of militancy and terrorism.
